History

Seafood Sales was established by Morten Klæstrup in 2003. Morten had been part of the industry for many years and worked up a thorough knowledge of and great passion for food sales and production.

A year later he hired his first employee, and today Seafood Sales employs nine committed and talented people. Two of them work in our quality control department in China, and we also employ an agent in France.

A lot has happened since the beginning in 2003, and our business continues to grow – owing a lot to our employees, who all contribute to the continuous development of the company. They each have their own action plan, which is to ensure motivation and job satisfaction. Moreover, we use a coaching, value-based and situational management style, which we believe is the key to initiative and personal development.

We started out with a solid customer base, and we are very happy that our first customers have followed us throughout the years. Morten Klæstrup always has the customers’ interests at heart in all aspects of business. We value loyalty, and we work our hardest to earn the trust of our customers and partners.

In order to further strengthen the business, two employees, Tim Nygaard Jensen and Anders Asbjørn Nielsen, were added to the group of owners in 2015.

In 2016 we launched a new sub-brand called RichOmega in collaboration with a major Chinese supplier. Seafood Sales will keep key products in stock, which will mean lots of new opportunities for our customers.
